"If you are results oriented not an excuse maker-willing
to put forth a sincere effort you are a prime candidate for Performance
Fitness System. This is an effective program for better health
which yields excellent results. Bert Seelman will provide the
foundation to improve your overall health. No false promises just
results."
"Bert has always been
ahead of the curve with respect to training methods and ideas.
I'm constantly amused to read about the newest training breakthroughs
and ideas about nutrition and athletic performance. They are invariably
where Bert was 10-15 years ago. I'm confident that if you want
to know what the cutting edge of training principles and ideas
will be in the future, all you have to do is ask Bert today."
"Challenging, efficient, and rewarding....2nd year the
results were exponential."
I’m 47 years old and began at Performance Fitness in October
of 2000, and have enjoyed health and fitness ever since. When
I started my health was relatively poor, having just recovered
from pneumonia. My body fat was at 31 % and I weighed in at a
blubbery 230 lbs. Since then my body fat has dropped to 14%, I’ve
lost almost 50 pounds of fat and gained over 30 pounds of muscle.
Even more dramatic than the weight loss is they way my body has
reapportioned! I’ve lost almost 4 belt sizes and I can actually
see the segmentation in my stomach muscles (haven’t seen that
since my very early 20’s). Bert Seelman has been an educator,
friend, coach and motivator. Results really ARE proof, if you’re
committed to the first four weeks of Bert’s program you will experience
dramatic results. It does take dedication, but the good news is
you’ll never miss a meal, you’ll eat foods you can buy over the
counter, and you’ll do it with three 20 minute workouts per week.
That’s a commitment, but think about it; it’s a very short time
to get the results I’ve mentioned above. Show up, follow directions
and eat! Your blood pressure will go down, and you’ll feel like
a million bucks. The weight loss is only an ancillary benefit
to the program. We’re talking nutrition and exercise habits that
will change your life. Keep your ears open too... Bert is filled
with information that you might be skeptical of... If your experience
is the same as mine, it’ll come true. "I wanted to take this opportunity to thank-you for the
gifts you've given me! The first gift is belief. I didn't
think I'd walk normally ever again, but you showed me a way. The
second gift is commitment. You believed I could when I didn't.
You never quit, and you never let me entertain the thought. "I just wanted to thank you for helping me to get my cholesterol
and blood pressure back to a normal level! As you know when I
started your program 5 weeks ago, these were my top two concerns.
My cholesterol was up to 269 and my physician placed me on a cholesterol
blocker as well as a diuretic to lower my blood pressure. After
being on this medication for two months, a blood test showed that
my liver enzymes were up (I have been told that cholesterol medication
may sometimes to this). To try to get my enzymes back in check,
my physician told me to cut the dosage in half. It was around
this time when Bob Teague introduced me to you and Performance
Fitness Systems. After hearing so much about the great success
you have had in helping people like me, I decided to try it. No
one told me to get off any medication, but I decided on my own
to do an experiment and not take anything for cholesterol or blood
pressure and just monitor it. After 5 weeks with Performance Fitness,
I went back for another blood test and my CHOLESTEROL WAS DOWN
to 166 and my BLOOD PRESSURE and LIVER ENZYMES were perfectly
NORMAL! Not only that, I LOST WEIGHT and DROPPED A DRESS SIZE
as an added bonus! Thanks again, Bert for not giving up on me!" "After one month, my results
were what I would have hoped to gain in five months by myself.
Professional athletes or every
day persons — if you're interested in excellence in your conditioning,
"The most important aspect of your work is the knowledge
you gave me. Knowledge is power and the ability to change. My
body learned a better way to be. To leave that learning is to
move toward disease. Your program is not for everyone. It is only
for those who take seriously their commitment to their own health
and well-being. Otherwise, let them go to one of the many "feel-good"
operators in "looking-good" health clubs who will all-too-willingly
share their incomplete and often ill-informed version of the truth
about what it means to be "in-condition." They often
do more harm than good. There is only one Performance Fitness
Systems, Inc. It speaks to wellness. It speaks to balance. “I’m involved with a program
that really works. I have regained a new mental attitude, obtained
valuable nutritional information
and guidance, and felt emotionally supported. I encourage
"I met Bert Seelman in the summer of 1983. I was 11 then
and, at the time, never imagined he would have such an impact
on my life. My dad, who had been training with Bert, mentioned
that he would be willing to train me for the upcoming 7th grade
football season. I thought this was a great idea considering I
was wider that I was tall. In less than 3 months, I needed to
buy a complete new wardrobe. During the conditioning phase of
football practice, my teammates gasped for breath as I breezed
through the practice due to the conditioning Bert gave me. After
I entered high school, my interests changed from exercise to cars,
girls, and fast food. My strongest memory is when Bert and I ate
a fast food restaurant where I ordered a fish sandwich with extra
tarter sauce. I even dipped the french fries in the sauce. Bert
watched in amazement, after everything he had taught me, and issued
warnings about my current eating habits. During my freshman year
at Northern Arizona University, I was diagnosed with pneumonia
4 times in one year. On my 20th birthday, I was riding an exercise
bike at a local gym when I started feeling extreme discomfort
in my chest accompanied by a shortness of breath. The supposed
pneumonia was actually pulmonary emboli (blood clots) being thrown
into my lungs. An air-ambulance delivered me to a hospital in
Tucson for emergency heart surgery. Exactly one year later, I
had another open heart surgery called pulmonary thromboendarterectomy.
This surgery was more successful, but I still had many chronic
problems. "Your whole philosophy of balancing exercise, nutrition,
and rest made sense to me.I felt, however, that I could work through
fatigue and pain, and that by exercising and working extremely
hard I could downplay the other components and maintain my physical
strength and performance. As I look back to 14 or 15 years ago,
when you first helped me with the first of three orthopedic operations,
I remember that you were telling me the same thing. If I had followed
your advise in all three areas instead of pushing the limits on
exercising, going part way on the nutrition and completely ignoring
the rest and recuperation, I would be writing a much different
letter today. My present goal is to finally take the knowledge
you have provided over the many years of our friendship and use
it to gain back as much of my health as I can. You have the experience
and the knowledge to help many people. However, your business
is no different from mine. We can only help those people who are
willing to listen and want to accept what we have to offer. " I have heard all too often the misconception that archers
do not need to follow a specific diet. Simply put, if you want
to achieve optimum performance your body needs to be functioning
properly. This is what I was in search of-a nutrition and exercise
program specific to my needs, and Bert Seelman was introduced
to me as the m,an who could do it. After the first two weeks of
working out with him, I achieved noticeable improvement in my
shooting strength. As all archers know, the one side of our bodies
becomes more developed that the other, so we worked to counteract
that. Again, I could actually feel the difference on the shooting
line."
