The Fact is, fitness begins with wellness. The criteria for a true wellness based fitness program is as follows:
Nutrition is the first and primary consideration of health. We become the sum total of what we eat. The quality and quantity of what we eat and when must precede the stress or stimulus of exercise.
Rest, or adequate time to accumulate and process nutritional needs and to facilitate repair, is essential for positive and results.
Exercise, or stimulus for added strength, flexibility and longevity, should be effective while being brief. Exercise for muscular strength and cardiovascular benefit need not exceed a total of 30 minutes, 3 times per week to be effective. Remember, exercise is a stress to bring about a positive effect, however the response to bring a positive effect lies in the balance of nutrition and rest.

Problematic causes of ill health and fitness that limit wellness need to be
