Let me tell you a little bit about Bert: I was invited to Bert's facility
through my work. My manager was a client and a friend of his. My manger
decided to hold our weekly sales meeting at his new place. When I walked
in and took a look around I was very impressed. Great machines, clean,
just very inviting. We all took a seat to listen to Bert talk about his
background and his philosophy on health and fitness. I couldn't believe
what was coming out of his mouth. Everything he was telling us, I was
doing the complete opposite. I considered myself in pretty good shape
actually you could say I was a gym rat. I had even been a trainer myself
and an aerobics instructor we were never taught these things. After that
first meeting, Bert really got me thinking, I had so many questions for
him and I just wanted to challenge him. I showed up at his office to find
out more from him, I think I was the only one from my work to come back.
I wanted to put his plan into action, just to see for myself and find
out if I could really achieve the results he had promised.
It was amazing! Eat more, work out in less time. I dropped from a size
9 to a size 5 in less than three weeks! My body fat was coming off so
fast! Everyone at work was jealous and I loved it! I was following Bert's
plan to a T, I was scared not to, because he would know if you weren't.
Then one day I decided to cheat and have some margaritas with my friends
after work, but that wasn't the bad part. I felt guilty about the margaritas
so I decided to go to the gym near my house and run for an hour so that
I wouldn't get caught. WRONG! I went in to get my body fat measured and
from that run I had lost a pound of muscle. Bert asked me what I did,
after a few excuses I finally confessed to the drinking and the running.
So to pay for my binge and to remain on the program I was told that I
would have to consume a LARGE pizza and a 2-liter bottle of Pepsi and
then after I stuffed all that down I was to jump on the trampoline for
an hour! I thought to myself, there is no way I'm going to do that. I
cried, I pleaded, I almost walked out. But then I realized that I had
to do it. I wanted to stay on the program and I wanted to prove to Bert
that no matter what I had to face I was going to do it. Pizza day was
awful! They even took pictures of me with an OINK sign around my neck,
but I DID IT! and I was right back on track after that. I'm just telling
you the PIG story so that you won't have to learn the hard way, because
Bert means business, but he only does it because he wants you to succeed
and get the results of good health and fitness.
After awhile I started coming less and less and during that time I became
pregnant with my third child. For some stupid reason I allowed my pregnant
self to get big, fat and lazy I don't know why, I just did. After the
baby was born and I got the clearance from my doctor to work out again
(this was my third C-section) I went right back to Bert. His first reaction
was, "What happened to you?!" It was pretty bad. I was huge and weighed
about 170 pounds! Not good. Bert got me back on the program and I had
my tight pre-pregnancy body back in eight weeks! Now I'm proud to say
that I'm a mother of three, cause I look gooood. To all those mom's out
there using that "baby fat" excuse it doesn't work with me. I have the
results to prove it.
I now know that all you have to do is listen and learn from Bert. It
took me a few tries to figure this out, but it is truly the only way if
you want to get the results.
